This tag quotes from Jane Kaufmann's new book. It's in reference to the "city in sand" she built with participation from other artists and passers-by on Hampton Beach in the '70s. The spirit of that public project resonates with me. I feel the same way about my tags.

Tagged while frolicking through Dumbo with Mia and friends. It was dark and my phone's camera doesn't do so well in low light. Need to go back and see if still there...

I "bombed" this beautiful space in the archway under the Manhattan Bridge in Dumbo on Saturday, tying on four tags. (Normally I only do one a day, but maybe with Valentine's Day in the air I was feeling more expansive.)

By Sunday morning, only one tag was left.

The lonesome string, decoupled from its tag. I think this was the grape popsicle one. The other two were gone too. Guess someone liked them!
