Tied on to a rosebush growing up a chainlink fence beside an enclosed wooden bulletin board for the Vinegar Hill community, Water St. (VH is just north of Dumbo on the waterfront in Brooklyn.)

Update: Brush Your - Water St, aes. 20

Really surprised but happy this one's still hanging a full week later. It's a little abraded on the bottom corners, but otherwise in great shape. I don't think I've ever seen one still extant a full week later.

This location on Water St. in Dumbo is the block-long exterior of a majestic abandoned warehouse building, and a popular site for street art and graffiti. It's on the same block as Jacques Torres, Almondine, and St. Ann's Warehouse.

Update: Been Anyone - Water St. aes.24

One week later, all that's left of the tag I tied on a bench outside of Almondine is a loose loop of string.

Tied to the bench outside my favorite bakery in the world.

Don't Notice - Manhattan Bridge Archway, aes.21

Tagged while frolicking through Dumbo with Mia and friends. It was dark and my phone's camera doesn't do so well in low light. Need to go back and see if still there...

Brush Your - Water St, aes.20

Brush your teeth
with that intention.

This block runs along an abandoned warehouse covered with street art and graffiti. This is a line mentioned during a yoga retreat I attended last month.

Tipped Over - Mia at Superfine, aes.23

It just tipped over,
it wasn't my fault.

Mia is taking this one to L.A.
It'll be the first non-NYC tag. She promises to send a picture once it's up...

Tags 20-25

It has been two months since I last tagged. Now I'm ready to hit the streets again.

On the backs of this batch I wrote in pencil the url for this blog. Wasn't going to do that, but at the same time I want those who maybe find a tag and think it's at all interesting to be able to connect to the larger project.

In the process of setting myself up so I can make this an entirely mobile blog (i.e., post only by smartphone). We'll see how it goes.
